Artwalk Feat. Lea Godoy

  • Assembly Coffee 5507 17th Avenue Northwest Seattle, WA, 98107 United States (map)

About the Work:

The air was warm, you could feel it sitting on your skin. The light was soft and bright, perfect for a nap. The breeze carried smells of sand, seagulls, salt, sweat and car gasoline. All you could hear for miles was nature's music. These were taken in the South of France, where for that one summer, all our problems disappeared.

About the Artists:

Meet Léa Godoy, an artist originally from Seattle, whose roots include a French mom and a Chilean dad. Léa's always been on the move, exploring and capturing the beauty she finds all around the world.

For Léa, photography is like freezing a moment in time. It's not just about taking pictures; it's about feeling emotion with visuals. Her photos don't just hold memories; they also make you feel a bit nostalgic when you look at them.

It's more than just pretty pictures. It's like a bridge to emotions and shared human experiences. When you see her work, it's like she's inviting you to connect with yourself. Through her lens, Léa shows us that the world is a tapestry woven with diverse stories. She encourages us all to step out, explore, embrace the unknown, and find something familiar in the unfamiliar.
